You’re in great hands with Lefler Dance!
Dance Instruction Company with over 35 years of professional experience serving Tennessee and surrounding areas. Proficient in 20+ styles of dance currently specializing in Argentine Tango! Mixing humor with content, students gain and retain knowledge while having FUN!
Korean-born Patricia Lefler began dancing at age two, hopping onto the fireplace to perform whenever music played. By 2½ she gave her first show—already a natural entertainer.
With over 30 years of experience, Patricia is a choreographer, teacher, and coach whose background spans dance, martial arts, acro, and gymnastics. She’s worked with competitive dance, cheer, and gymnastics teams, earning state and national titles, and is known as a “clean-up” and “synchronicity” coach who loves seeing a group move as one.
Patricia choreographs for weddings, cotillions, quinceañeras, show choirs, dance teams, martial arts groups, and drag performers. She teaches more than 20 styles—from Ballroom and Latin to Country and Swing—and is currently obsessed with Argentine Tango. Her favorite style? “All of them.” Her greatest joy is witnessing students find their confidence.
Service is at the heart of Patricia’s mission. She has volunteered with countless charities and events, earning the Mayor’s Award for her work with people with disabilities. Patricia creates volunteer opportunities for the dance community by bringing students to nursing homes and military facilities to provide support and entertainment. Together with her blind student, Peggy, she formed “The Dancing Peas,” teaching at the Tennessee School for the Blind and gaining national recognition. Patricia also founded Give-n-Groove, uniting communities through dance for a cause.
